1. Contracts and agreements:
- Participate in preparing and drafting contracts, agreements, and pledges to which the university is a party, and approving them before signing them.
- Expressing an opinion on memorandums of understanding, agreements and contracts before concluding them and placing legal notes on them.
2. Investigation committees and disciplinary procedures:
- Providing legal advice to the university’s disciplinary councils and participating in drawing up indictments against the accused.
- Secretariat of the various investigation committees at the university.
- Formation of investigation committees.
- Auditing and reviewing the decisions of disciplinary penalties imposed on employees, working to approve them, and returning the violators to correct them in accordance with the applicable regulations and instructions.
- Preparing punishment books for employees.
- Follow up on the preparation of suspension letters for the worker referred to the disciplinary council, the public prosecutor, or the competent court, and follow up on these
- cases from the date of referral until the issuance of the final ruling.
- Preparing letters allowing the employee to return to his work if he is referred by the public prosecutor to the competent court for committing any misdemeanor or felony that is not prejudicial to honor and a final ruling is issued.
- Studying objections and grievances to disciplinary decisions.
- Providing legal opinions on issues related to work.
- Responding to inquiries received from regulatory bodies.
- Maintaining investigation files on investigative cases related to employees.
3. Issues and follow-up:
- Following up on issues related to the university and cases brought against the university and preparing the necessary communications and correspondence for these issues, including documents and documents.
- Receiving judicial notifications related to the university and preparing notification letters after directing the university president regarding them and following up on what is related to them.
- Expressing an opinion on legal and criminal disputes related to university employees.
4. Legal consultations:
- Providing consultations to all university units through the university president and vice presidents.
- Providing legal advice for any inquiries from the local community, including individuals, institutions, companies, and others.
- Responding to the letters of the Audit Bureau and the Integrity and Anti-Corruption Commission.
- Considering requests to change name and nationality.
