Director Message

The Legal Affairs Department was established at the beginning of the founding of the university, as it is considered the body responsible for directing the university’s activities and decisions in accordance with the provisions of the applicable legislative system, which requires a permanent presence and a distinguished effort to be aware of its responsibilities. The Legal Affairs Department undertakes several tasks, most notably reviewing and auditing the university’s draft regulations, instructions, and foundations. Expressing a legal opinion on it for later presentation to the competent authorities, and providing advice and legal opinion in all aspects of the university’s academic and administrative work. As well as preparing and drafting university contracts and agreements various activities, including economic and investment, following up on cases in which the university is a party, plaintiff or defendant, participating in committees and meetings with relevant authorities, examining any matter or issue that obstructs the progress of work at the university, proposing legal solutions, and following up on the university’s legal and judicial activities with the authorities. Relevant matters in the country based on the directives of the university presidency, providing legal assistance and guidance to both university employees and students, and keeping pace with legal developments required by the university’s progress and continuation in various fields for the success of the university’s journey in achieving its desired goals, and carrying out any activities or tasks assigned to it by By the university presidency.
